    What can an orofacial myofunctional disorder cause?

  • Ankyloglossia/tongue tie

    A congenital formation of the lingual frenulum that is restrictive decreasing range of motion of the tongue contributing to functional deficits (feeding, swallowing, oral rest posture, etc.)

    Ankylolabia/lip tie

    A congenital formation of the labial frenulum that is restrictive decreasing movement and function of the lips contributing to functional deficits.


    Buccal/cheek tie

    A congenital formation of the buccal frenulum that is restrictive decreasing the range of motion of the cheeks contributing to functional deficits ( impacting feeding, rest posture, movement of facial strcutures, etc.).

  • We are currently out of network with insurance. This allows us to dedicate our time & expertise as needed to best support individual needs. We do offer superbills for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
